At ECHO, we believe Eid-ul-Adha is a time for empathy and shared joy. This year, our Qurbani Program 2026 successfully brought essential nutrition and festive happiness to some of the most marginalized and calamity-affected communities across Bangladesh.

Sponsored by ECHO-USA and implemented by ECHO-BD, this month-long initiative utilized a budget of US$ 4,100 (BDT 4,92,000) to support 500 vulnerable families, widows, day laborers, and orphans.
Key Highlights of our 2026 Distribution:
- Animals Sacrificed: 4 cows and 4 goats, processed under strict hygienic standards.
- 6 Districts Covered: Hand-delivered meat packs reached remote char areas, river-erosion victims, and coastal communities in Kurigram, Sylhet, Gaibandha, Satkhira, Gazipur, and Nilphamari.
- Targeted Support: Prioritized local orphanages and families who rarely have access to high-quality protein, ensuring they could celebrate Eid with dignity.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors and dedicated field teams for making this impactful drive possible. Together, we continue to change lives, one community at a time.
